OVERVIEW[]
Origin[]
Hundreds of years ago, the Witch cast a curse on the world. The curse poisoned the air and the water. Only the collective might of the Wizards from Rafdonia managed to hold the curse at bay. And so, all races established themselves on Rafdonia, creating a city vaster than any the world had ever seen.
Decades later, the Wizards created the labyrinth. A space where magic stones could be farmed by defeating monsters. These stones could be turned by alchemy into resources such as wheat, clay, iron ore, mythril, and others. The labyrinth makes it so that the city of Rafdonia can survive.

Rift[]
Rifts are no different from a treasure trove. Exclusive monsters who doesn't appear on the regular map are precious opportunities for explorers who are otherwise unable to receive more experience points, never mind the loot one can get from the guardian.[8]
Rifts are instant dungeons that exists on each floor. A rift has two main characteristics: The essence drop rate increases exponentially, and a special monster called a guardian gives special rewards that cannot be obtain in normal fields.[9]
Essence, Numbers Item and Rift Stone are the three items of loot a guardian can drop.[10]

Monsters are broadly classified into four categories. 1. Mutants: Like goblin archers and swordsmen, the race is the same, but the class differs. 2. High class species: The death fiend I met in the Land of the Dead belongs to this category. For reference, this one is a relative classification system, and if the monster’s rank is one higher than the average rank of the monsters on that floor, it is considered a higher species. 3. Rare species: Monsters that can only be met in certain Rifts, like corpse golems, or monsters that are extremely difficult to meet in general fields, like mimics, fall under this. 4. High class mutant: This refers to a named monster with an individual and unique personality and name. The most important characteristic is that they hold the power of an essence. In short, these monsters are much tougher and more demanding.[11] |
