In order to calculate the cycle of the labyrinth more conveniently, one month was set as thirty days, and month thirteen was created to hold the remaining days. In addition, the labyrinth’s cycle was changed to thirty-five days by updating the portal. [1] |

Trivia
- In Chapter 84: Sewerage (5), Amelia Rainwales expresses her surprise at Bjorn's impressive growth:
“ | Their first meeting was only a month ago. In that time, he only would have been able to enter the Labyrinth once.[...] Regardless of this being the result of her arrogance, it was absurd to think that it was a three-month-old barbarian who created this situation. | ” |
The first meeting of Bjorn & Amelia occurs in Chapter 24:The Plunderer (1) during Bjorn's second exploration with Ainar Fenelin. If Bjorn is a zero-month-old barbarian when he enters the labyrinth for the first time, a one-month-old when he enters the labyrinth for the second time then he would be a two-month-old barbarian after his exploration of the labyrinth for the third time. Thus, Amelia's inner thoughts might not be accurate unless Bjorn's explorer age is counted from one-month-old.
- In Chapter 205: Instant (1), Bjorn asks himself:
“ |
Is it already June?
|
” |
However, it is impossible for Bjorn to be in June considering the dates later mentioned in the novel. For example, the Seven Pillars Disaster happens on New World 154, May 2nd in Chapter 231 (26 chapters later).
- In Chapter 264: Bug (3), Hansu Lee claims that he spend thirteen months in Bjorn's body.
“ |
The timing was at least three years earlier than expected, but I didn’t want to say that I was lucky. It'd been thirteen months since I woke up in this body. You could call it short, but too many things had happened to me in that time. |
” |
Considering the number of explorations (once per month) he has already done and adding the six months timelapse after his exile in Bifron, it is clearly an underestimation. Moreover, he already stated in Chapter 205:
“ |
It really had been over a year since I got here. I felt this when I paid taxes for the first year, too, but the strange feeling remained. |
” |
Even if the difference between Hansu Lee world 's calendar and New Year 's calendar is taken into account, it doesn't make sense that the two dates overlap while there is a 59 chapters interval.
- In Chapter 338: Snowball (2), Arua Raven checks the calendar in her office.
“ |
It was New World 154, December 2nd. She still felt strange every time she looked at the calendar. It was about time things got better, but her body still stiffened sometimes and her heart sank like this. |
” |
Bjorn Yandel is supposed to come back two and half years later after his disappearance on Farune Island so approximately around New World 156. It is unclear if Raven is reffering to the day Bjorn disappeared, the day she had a conversation with Missha about Bjorn evil spirit's identity or the current day.
